Ivan Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 13th minute Everardo Balasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Erramu in the 18th minute of play. Ivan Vargas came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Thunders's Ladislao Lartaun. But to his dismay, Ladislao Lartaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Ladislao Lartaun took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Vargas. Ivan Vargas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Ivan Vargas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Omar Gustau went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of los polacos 09 booed when Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Gustau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Erramu in the 42nd minute of play forced los polacos 09's goalkeeper Ivan Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the los polacos 09 defense, Hernan Erramu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Vargas. The los polacos 09 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Vargas should have stopped the shot. After the first half Thunders were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Gustau to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, los polacos 09's goalkeeper Ivan Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Lartaun. In the 54th minute Bernabe Palben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thunders's Fidel Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Palben in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Ladislao Lartaun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Vargas. los polacos 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ladislao Lartaun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Ivan Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Gustau in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Hernan Erramu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivan Vargas. los polacos 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Erramu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Everardo Balasi scored 0-9 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ivan Vargas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. los polacos 09's Ivan Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save los polacos 09 from getting a goal against them. Omar Gustau's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ivan Vargas firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Lartaun got free with Ivan Vargas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute Hernan Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Omar Gustau reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivan Vargas. The goal made the score 0-10. When the final whistle sounded Thunders left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than los polacos 09.
