In the 18th match minute, Dolores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Bernebe to maneuver through the defense. When Simple Plan's Emilio Txatxu in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dolores FC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Dolores FC's Honorato Matei got a free kick in the 20th minute. Bernardo Maldonado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emilio Txatxu in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Fresco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Danilo Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Simple Plan's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Firme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Fresco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dolores FC's Emiliano Fresco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Firme in the 45th minute of play. Honorato Matei kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Benvido was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Dolores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Txatxu came free, but Emiliano Fresco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnulfo Bernebe made in the 59th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Constantino Soin. In the 64th minute, Honorato Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Arnoldo Martino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Dolores FC's Emiliano Fresco didn't even have to move. Dolores FC's Constantino Soin got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Fresco was a little too slow when Emilio Txatxu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-2. Emiliano Fresco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emilio Txatxu in the 84th minute of the match. If Arnulfo Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90thth minute of the game Emilio Txatxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dolores FC's Emiliano Fresco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ramon Corderall fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dolores FC's protests and gave Ramon Corderall a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th match minute, Dolores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Corderall to maneuver through the defense. Danilo Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Fresco having to interfere. Although Dolores FC had been in control for most of the match, Simple Plan still came away with the win.
