With a left leg Elias Harri saved Sanford AFC from getting behind. 5 minutes in the game, Gerardo Argi fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Elias Harri having to interfere. If Victorio Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacobo Gaizko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Harri having to interfere. Gaudencio Tomi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorio Oliverios in the 18th minute of the match. Jacobo Gaizko in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elias Harri, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Elias Harri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Gaizko in the 24th minute of play. In the 27thth minute of the game Jacobo Gaizko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanford AFC's Elias Harri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaudencio Tomi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Oliverios, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Mauricio Afonso came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Deportivo Tandil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Afonso couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Gomez during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Jacobo Gaizko came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Deportivo Tandil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Gaizko couldn't finish the play. Benjamin Caitano might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Harri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Benjamin Caitano ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tandil's Jacobo Gaizko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Harri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elias Harri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Moise in the 47th minute. If Jacobo Gaizko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 54th minute, Alfredo Moise left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Tandil fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Benjamin Caitano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Harri having to make a save. Deportivo Tandil's Albino Hernando was substituted for Anibal Bastida. In the 65th minute Albino Hernando suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Camilo Gomesano charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gomesano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacobo Gaizko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Harri having to interfere. Sanford AFC's Elias Harri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacobo Gaizko in the 72nd minute of play. Gerardo Argi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Harri having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Jacobo Gaizko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanford AFC's Elias Harri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Sanford AFC's Camilo Gomesano got a free kick in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Gaizko in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Harri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Gerardo Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the match, Sanford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Gaizko came free, but Elias Harri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Tandil's Benjamin Caitano got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victorio Oliverios kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tandil's Jacobo Gaizko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elias Harri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Tandil players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
