After 8 minutes, Gaudencio Francho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Divisoria FC and the Deportivo Tandil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Deportivo Tandil's Jacobo Gaizko ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustino Bladi. Faustino Bladi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Faustino Bladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Gaizko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raul Orzaize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Hector Gentza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Divisoria FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Gentza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaudencio Tomi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jimeno Ekialde kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Deportivo Tandil's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Onofre came free, but Gaudencio Tomi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Gaizko, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gaudencio Francho hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Gerardo Argi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Tandil's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Argi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Divisoria FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marco Asteri hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gogo Onofre made the kick off in the second half. Gaudencio Tomi came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Divisoria FC's Hector Gentza. But to his dismay, Hector Gentza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Hector Gentza struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Gaudencio Tomi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Divisoria FC. Deportivo Tandil's Albino Hernando was substituted for Anibal Bastida. Hector Gentza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Tomi having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Rosendo Txindoki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gogo Onofre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Tomi having to interfere. Divisoria FC made a substitution. Cesar Gartzea replaced Eusebio Martxot. Deportivo Tandil made a substitution. Casimiro Tiadoro replaced Alfredo Moise. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Gentza got free with Gaudencio Tomi in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jacobo Gaizko in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustino Bladi saved Divisoria FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gogo Onofre during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gogo Onofre hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Deportivo Tandil's Jacobo Gaizko got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jacobo Gaizko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustino Bladi was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 92nd match minute, Deportivo Tandil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. Divisoria FC's Feliberto Vargas was substituted for Ismael Aguilera. After 94 played minutes Deportivo Tandil got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Tiadoro. A collision led to Deportivo Tandil getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Albino Hernando hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Tandil had played much better football throughout.
