An unexpectedly hard shot by Gogo Argi in the 22nd minute of play forced Los Ponys's goalkeeper Bernardo Bracco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Cugat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Sesuldo in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Gogo Argi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Bracco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Adan Cugat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Sesuldo in the 34th minute of play. Rodolfo Acosta struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Adan Cugat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Ponys. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Uriel Caetano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Bracco made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Gogo Argi sent off a good shot on target. Erasmo Sesuldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Erasmo Sesuldo notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Barrancas's Adan Cugat. Adan Cugat was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gogo Argi fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrancas's protests and gave Gogo Argi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Barrancas getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gogo Argi hit a great ball. Barrancas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baldomero Gilabert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 70th minute, Barrancas's Anselmo Musko seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Anselmo Musko the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barrancas protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Anselmo Musko had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 71st match minute, Barrancas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Musko to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Rodolfo Acosta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute of the game, Hermengildo Abajas landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Los Ponys made a substitution. Alberto Miro replaced Hermengildo Abajas. Adan Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jose Frascuelo's late challenge caught a Los Ponys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Frascuelo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st minute, Jose Frascuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Cugat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Gilabert in the 88th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Gilabert in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adan Cugat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There was no doubt that Los Ponys were the better team. Los Ponys's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
