After a defensive mix-up in Los Ponys's zone, Cícero Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Bracco came out of the goal and Cícero Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonatan Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Colas in the 32nd minute of play. After 32 played minutes Sumamao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Gaizkine. Baldomero Gilabert scored 0-4 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonatan Oihenarte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonatan Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Colas in the 40th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Baldomero Gilabert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Jonatan Oihenarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cícero Arantes made the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Gilabert succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 55th playminute. Jonatan Oihenarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Acosta in the 59th minute of play. Aureliano Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. When Erasmo Sesuldo came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Los Ponys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Sesuldo couldn't finish the play. Sumamao AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Erasmo Sesuldo scored to the left of an out of position Jonatan Oihenarte, making the score, 0-7. In the last second Jonatan Oihenarte throw himself and got hold of the ball when Erasmo Sesuldo in the 86thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 88 minutes into the game, Rogelio Colas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonatan Oihenarte. Rogelio Colas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Jonatan Oihenarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Acosta, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Bernardo Bracco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cícero Arantes's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hernan Rik during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Sumamao AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Ponys were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
