The Devisadero fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Devisadero's Zacarias Licerio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When Melquiades Valente fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Maximiliano Sandaili's late challenge caught a Puisoyé's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Puisoyé's zone, Zacarias Licerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulo Santiago came out of the goal and Zacarias Licerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flavio Oskitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 67th minute of the match Fernan Librado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Fernan Librado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th match minute, Puisoyé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Librado to maneuver through the defense. After 69 played minutes Devisadero got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Sandaili. In the 72nd match minute, Puisoyé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Baumer to maneuver through the defense. If Flavio Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Devisadero left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Puisoyé.
