The Mesada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Silvanito should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute, Adolfo Abel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Milton Tøpholm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sofia mi reina's supporters rose to their feet, but Milton Tøpholm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Silvanito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Abel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Ivan Silvanito made a huge save. Milton Tøpholm hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Adolfo Abel came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ivan Silvanito could save by the left post. Ivan Silvanito didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. The supporters of Sofia mi reina booed when Mesada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Azubeli didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Desiderio Bingen managed to get in a good position for a shot. A very good chance for a goal. 61 minutes into the match, Sofia mi reina's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Geleberto came free, but Luciano Patxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Desiderio Bingen came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Sofia mi reina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Bingen couldn't finish the play. Sofia mi reina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corey Pearson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victoriano Faron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ivan Silvanito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Silvanito having to interfere. The supporters of Mesada booed when Sofia mi reina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corey Pearson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sofia mi reina's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
