After a rather tough play, Stab Social Club's Matias Mambru got a free kick in the 15th minute. After 18 played minutes Stab Social Club got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Maidana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Hejn in the 21st minute of play forced Stab Social Club's goalkeeper Bernabe Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Helge Hejn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Fernandes having to interfere. After some careless play in the Stab Social Club defense, Helge Hejn kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernabe Fernandes. The Stab Social Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernabe Fernandes should have stopped the shot. If Helge Hejn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 32 minutes of play Stab Social Club's Jose Pasqual was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bernabe Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jedrzej Chazon in the 33rd minute of play. Justo Nicholas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mario Bonifaco went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Stab Social Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boca Juniors were winning 1-2.

In the 54th match minute, Stab Social Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Luzaide to maneuver through the defense. Feliciano Maidana charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliciano Maidana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Feliciano Maidana hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Jedrzej Chazon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Justo Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the game, Rogelio Lixandro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernabe Fernandes. Rogelio Lixandro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 72nd minute, Rogelio Lixandro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Jedrzej Chazon struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Bernabe Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boca Juniors. 83 minutes into the match, Stab Social Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jedrzej Chazon came free, but Bernabe Fernandes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jorge Hever hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Leon Mouricio hit a great ball. When Jedrzej Chazon came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jedrzej Chazon couldn't finish the play. Boca Juniors's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
