Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jedrzej Chazon in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Cordarryl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Boca Juniors's Silvestre Gorka got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodeo AFC's Hipolito Cordarryl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jedrzej Chazon in the 39th minute of play. Helge Hejn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Cordarryl having to interfere.

After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Atilano Montxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodeo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilano Montxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Cordarryl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Helge Hejn, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Boca Juniors's Justo Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Vergaray in the 94th minute of play.
