Spectators: 6957 (Terracing: 5316, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 141) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Laureano Vellito kicked off to start the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomiro Baldovino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erubiel Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Vellito in the 6th minute of play. Baldomiro Baldovino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Jacindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Baldomiro Baldovino made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Gonzalo Franco sent off a good shot on target. Martin Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Aballe having to interfere. A collision led to Ferro Carril oeste getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dionisio Tipi hit a great ball. Erubiel Aballe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Vellito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laureano Vellito in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erubiel Aballe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Rubio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Erubiel Aballe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonzalo Franco in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baldomiro Baldovino, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 37 minutes, Martin Rubio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chorrillos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Rubio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Martin Rubio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erubiel Aballe having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Vellito in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erubiel Aballe saved Ferro Carril oeste from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Jacindo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laureano Vellito in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Erubiel Aballe, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Chorrillos's Hipolito Esquipula got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Gonzalo Franco put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Baldomiro Baldovino. The supporters of Chorrillos booed when Ferro Carril oeste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Tipi didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 80 in the game by Laureano Vellito from a close distance when the talented Erubiel Aballe managed to make a qualified save. Ferro Carril oeste's players were relieved. In the 82nd minute, Lucas Gomesano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ferro Carril oeste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorrillos the free kick. Martin Rubio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Martin Rubio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erubiel Aballe. That made the score 1-2 in the 97 minute of play.
