The Atletico Tucuman fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Atletico Tucuman's Gogo Estevez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Gogo Estevez made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 34thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Elvio Oihenarte would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. With his leg Elvio Oihenarte managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Atletico Tucuman's Gogo Estevez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Elvio Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Estevez in the 36th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Tucuman fully deserved thier win.
