A collision led to Fulton getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Eleuterio Iraitz hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Aureliano Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fulton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Palban was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Gomez kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Isidro Efren made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Montez. Fulton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prudencio Gomez to make the kick off. Artemio Tello's late challenge caught a Fulton's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 88 minutes, Aureliano Palban managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
