When Nektarios Robos came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Iron Maiden Fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nektarios Robos couldn't finish the play. Pedro Gaspar did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Patricio Jayvier 7 minutes into the match. Hermengildo Tercero charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hermengildo Tercero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nektarios Robos got free with Patricio Jayvier in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Pedro Gaspar got free in front of the goal in the 25th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Patricio Jayvier was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Estudiantes's Fabricio Dino got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Iron Maiden Fc booed when Club Atletico Estudiantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Club Atletico Estudiantes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nektarios Robos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Club Atletico Estudiantes's Patricio Jayvier got control of the ball when Pedro Gaspar tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Club Atletico Estudiantes getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Luciano Jokin hit a great ball. Leonardo Frechoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Jayvier having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Patricio Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nektarios Robos in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute Baltasar Porfirio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Bernaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Jayvier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Gaspar's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Nektarios Robos might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patricio Jayvier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nektarios Robos ran back to his position shaking his head. 63 minutes into the game, Fabricio Dino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Estudiantes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iron Maiden Fc the free kick. In the 80thth minute of the game Pedro Gaspar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Estudiantes's Patricio Jayvier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Pedro Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Jayvier was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. In the 87th minute Leonardo Frechoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Jayvier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patricio Jayvier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nektarios Robos in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of Iron Maiden Fc booed when Club Atletico Estudiantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Palban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iron Maiden Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
