Spectators: 7117 (Terracing: 5340, Seating: 1636, VIP seats: 141) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dráusio Breckenfeld started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Naré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute Angelino Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Perutxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Naré's Patricio Asier got control of the ball when Fausto Lano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Patricio Asier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dráusio Breckenfeld in the 8th minute of the match. Honorato Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Asier having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Naré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Pepillo to maneuver through the defense. Dráusio Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 played minutes Naré got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Pepillo. After a defensive mix-up in Naré's zone, Fausto Lano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patricio Asier came out of the goal and Fausto Lano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dráusio Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Breckenfeld in the 47th minute of play forced Naré's goalkeeper Patricio Asier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emilio Lia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Deportivo Rioplatense's goal looked a bit too open when Emilio Lia came free, but Francisco Perutxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fausto Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Patricio Asier came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Rioplatense's Dráusio Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Dráusio Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Honorato Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Asier having to interfere. If Fausto Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, Naré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Orlanda to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Asier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fausto Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fausto Lano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Jesco during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elvio Petri's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francisco Perutxo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Deportivo Rioplatense were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
