The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lukasz Brzonkala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Tulio in the 18th minute of the match. LA Lakers's Enzo Pepillo suffered a concussion in the 22nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. After 22 minutes, Romeo Esiquio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Álamos FC and the LA Lakers players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Álamos FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Romeo Esiquio hit a great ball. Haldun Baloğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Azevedo having to interfere. If Cristo Ado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Orlando Guter fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tomás Azevedo, passed just outside the right post. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind LA Lakers's goalkeeper Tomás Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, LA Lakers's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Esiquio came free, but Tomás Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomás Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo Lehoi in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Reynaldo Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Lehoi was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Jeremias Tulio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lukasz Brzonkala was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. During the 52nd minute of the match Romeo Esiquio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Romeo Esiquio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After having played for 57 minutes, Reynaldo Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Álamos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Lehoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomás Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Orlando Guter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomás Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. LA Lakers's Tomás Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Lehoi in the 72nd minute of play. Orlando Guter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Guter in the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to LA Lakers getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Ciriaco Mingo hit a great ball. After 88 played minutes Ignacio Fagildo shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for LA Lakers's Tomás Azevedo to catch but Ignacio Fagildo was lucky. It became 4-0 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. If Reynaldo Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Orlando Guter in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute of the match Joel Ostargi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomás Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Álamos FC had played much better football throughout.
