The referee ignored La COSTA FC's protests and gave Hugo Laurentzi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, La COSTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Esperanza's Luciano Mitxel tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ettore Berardini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliciano Luzaide in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the game, Pastor Lleir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La COSTA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esperanza the free kick. The supporters of Esperanza booed when La COSTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, La COSTA FC's Pastor Lleir got a free kick in the 12th minute. Cristobal Napier kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 17 minutes, Nicasio Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La COSTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Teodor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicasio Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Rayman struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Marciano Marcones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La COSTA FC. Marciano Marcones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Teodor, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Romeo Rayman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Marcones having to interfere. Marciano Marcones didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Teodor went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Marciano Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Teodor in the 41st minute of the match. Nicasio Teodor struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Marciano Marcones didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La COSTA FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jairo Botello to make the kick off. Marciano Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicasio Teodor in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Nicasio Teodor notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Esperanza's Marciano Marcones. Marciano Marcones was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicasio Teodor struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. The La COSTA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 91st minute Jairo Botello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Berardini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicasio Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ettore Berardini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustin Vincent in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. La COSTA FC had won after a very even match.
