The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Lleir got free with Cosme Petri in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Petri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugo Laurentzi went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Barcelona EQ.Messi booed when La COSTA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Lleir didn't get a good kick on the ball. La COSTA FC's Pastor Lleir got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nicasio Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pastor Lleir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Petri having to interfere. When Anacleto Sayvion fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona EQ.Messi's protests and gave Anacleto Sayvion a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Anacleto Sayvion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Nicasio Teodor came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the La COSTA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicasio Teodor couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicasio Teodor in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Petri saved Barcelona EQ.Messi from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
