Spectators: 6970 (Terracing: 5335, Seating: 1635, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Filiberto Tab took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chelco's Amador Incendio got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Chelco booed when Cachiyuyu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Etxatxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Rafael Paulin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lino Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Tab, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Gagriel kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Chelco's Rafael Paulin tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cachiyuyu's Fernan Lope got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute Filiberto Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fernan Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Leoncio in the 47th minute of play forced Chelco's goalkeeper Lino Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cecilio Txaran made a kick off. Tobias Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Azevedo having to interfere. In the 63rd minute Filiberto Tab shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobias Leoncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Lino Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Chelco's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Tab came free, but Lino Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Froilan Argina hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Filiberto Tab fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Azevedo having to interfere. If Tobias Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cachiyuyu had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
