The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Leo Boni fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orán's protests and gave Leo Boni a yellow card for diving instead. When Ermegildo Vito came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Via Subte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Vito couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, Orán's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Bermund came free, but Roman Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Bermund, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Via Subte's Niceto Firmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Via Subte from getting a goal against them. 13 minutes into the game, Via Subte's Ildefonso Bermund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Behe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the Orán defense, Ildefonso Bermund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roman Behe. The Orán fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roman Behe should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Ildefonso Bermund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Behe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 25 minutes into the game, Via Subte's Ildefonso Bermund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Behe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Leo Boni was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Roman Behe had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Ermegildo Vito's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ildefonso Bermund scored 0-6 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Behe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Orán players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Via Subte were winning 0-6.

Orán's attentive Arnoldo Incendio managed to snatch the ball when Ignacio Videl made a throw-in in the 54th minute of the game. If Luis Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Maximino Oinatz notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Orán's Roman Behe. Roman Behe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ildefonso Bermund's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Roman Behe firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Orán getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Arnoldo Incendio hit a great ball. Via Subte's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
