Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Justo Loren took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Cristo Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batel's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Cebrian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Jakes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabe Eneto charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernabe Eneto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernabe Eneto kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Cristo Cebrian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Pedro Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Loren in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Jakes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Agustin Illart came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the SAFFO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustin Illart couldn't finish the play. A collision led to SAFFO F.C. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Fermin Gentza hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justo Loren in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Jakes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Cristian Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batel's Feliciano Chesus shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hector Jakes but with some difficulty. In the 37th minute of the match Pablo Donio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Jakes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Justo Loren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristo Cebrian kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector Jakes. That made the score 2-0 in the 40 minute of play. Hector Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justo Loren in the 43rd minute of play. If Pedro Orlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Batel's goalkeeper Ruperto Nuñez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Justo Loren got in the 60th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hector Jakes handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pedro Orlo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Rioja hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cristo Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Justo Loren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 71 minutes into the match, Batel's Cristo Cebrian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hector Jakes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Justo Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Jakes having to interfere. Hector Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Cebrian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Cebrian in the 80th minute of play. Cristo Cebrian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Justo Loren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hector Jakes was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Justo Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Jakes having to interfere. Hector Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Cebrian in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Batel fans cheered their team off the field, for while SAFFO F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
