In the 4th minute, Nando Garival ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Gotzon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Andres Ugaitz fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cochangasta's protests and gave Andres Ugaitz a yellow card for diving instead. Andres Ugaitz hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Eriberto Llanos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rosendo Gorri in the 15th minute. In the 24th match minute, Los Pumas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Gorri to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Curcio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Hernan Mosen was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Los Pumas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 30 minutes into the match, Rosendo Gorri notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Cochangasta's Eriberto Llanos. Eriberto Llanos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nando Garival in the 35th minute of play forced Los Pumas's goalkeeper Benjamin Gotzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Llanos was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Hernan Mosen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hernan Mosen really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernan Mosen to strike the kick off in the second half. Cochangasta's Eriberto Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rosendo Gorri in the 52nd minute of play. Bernardino Gorri kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Nando Garival struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Benjamin Gotzon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cochangasta. Benjamin Gotzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Ugaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nando Garival had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andres Ugaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Gotzon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Mosen in the 67th minute of play forced Cochangasta's goalkeeper Eriberto Llanos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Ovidio Brais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eriberto Llanos. Cochangasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidio Brais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 72nd match minute, Cochangasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Avellaneda to maneuver through the defense. Rolando Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Ovidio Brais shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Llanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Avellaneda got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Rolando Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Nicolas Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Andres Ugaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Gotzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Ugaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nando Garival in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Gotzon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cochangasta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Los Pumas.
