Francisco Ortzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ülo Annast in the 8th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Obeko in the 9th minute of play forced FC BARCELONA's goalkeeper Francisco Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rolando Telesforo during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MATEMATICOS DEL 41's Rolando Telesforo got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 15 minutes of play, MATEMATICOS DEL 41's Salvador Innocenzio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Ortzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! During the 19th minute of the match Rolando Telesforo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Rolando Telesforo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when MATEMATICOS DEL 41 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rolando Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute Cristian Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Bernebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Salvador Innocenzio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francisco Ortzi was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. After 28 played minutes MATEMATICOS DEL 41 got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Fe. In the 34th minute, Mateo Iratze got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Innocenzio in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Ortzi saved FC BARCELONA from getting behind. Salvador Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ortzi having to interfere. If Ülo Annast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half MATEMATICOS DEL 41 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Salvador Innocenzio to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Obeko came free, but Francisco Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Fernando Constancio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristian Quiroga fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC BARCELONA's protests and gave Cristian Quiroga a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, FC BARCELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Quiroga to maneuver through the defense. Ülo Annast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Francisco Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ülo Annast had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Urtsua hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Salvador Innocenzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Francisco Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ülo Annast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MATEMATICOS DEL 41's Ülo Annast got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ülo Annast came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the MATEMATICOS DEL 41 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ülo Annast couldn't finish the play. Francisco Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ülo Annast, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded MATEMATICOS DEL 41 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC BARCELONA.
