Spectators: 6982 (Terracing: 5344, Seating: 1638, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Esteban Bemabe started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jörn Gullesson in the 3rd minute of play forced maipu fc's goalkeeper Simon Jax to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteban Bemabe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Esteban Bemabe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The maipu fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute, Blas Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davut Elçibey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Jeremias Joey managed to get in a good position for a shot. maipu fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremias Joey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davut Elçibey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Esteban Bemabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 19th minute Jeremias Joey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davut Elçibey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, one of Quilmes Atletico Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Quilmes Atletico Club. In the 25th match minute, Quilmes Atletico Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Gullesson to maneuver through the defense. After 26 played minutes maipu fc got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Bemabe. 28 minutes into the match, Quilmes Atletico Club's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Joey came free, but Davut Elçibey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Gonchan struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Simon Jax didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilmes Atletico Club. Jörn Gullesson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Fidel Ixona came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the maipu fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fidel Ixona couldn't finish the play. 47 minutes into the match, maipu fc's Jeremias Joey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Davut Elçibey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafino Berbiz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Quilmes Atletico Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Sotero to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Ixona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 65th minute, Serafino Berbiz made a precise shot to the right of Simon Jax. maipu fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as maipu fc's Esteban Bemabe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Davut Elçibey. That made the score 1-2 after 68 minutes of play. Fidel Ixona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th match minute, Quilmes Atletico Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jörn Gullesson to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Sotero hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Bemabe in the 83rd minute of play forced Quilmes Atletico Club's goalkeeper Davut Elçibey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. maipu fc's Simon Jax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Berbiz in the 85th minute of play. Simon Jax didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaac Gonchan went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. 94 minutes into the match, Serafino Berbiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Jax. maipu fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafino Berbiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. maipu fc's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Quilmes Atletico Club had won, even though maipu fc had held more of the ball.
