Mario Oro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ramon Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Abete made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Bernabe Polentzi sent off a good shot on target. Eugenio Abete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Guido Baleren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Nuevo Derecho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Baleren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 31 minutes, Guido Baleren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Nuevo Derecho and the Alai Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 31 played minutes C. A. Nuevo Derecho got a freekick which was hit by Guido Baleren. If Ramon Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mario Oro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Baleren in the 40th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Americo Peruxu to make the kick off. C. A. Nuevo Derecho's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciro Ibon in the 54th minute. Ciro Ibon made a great header on C. A. Nuevo Derecho's corner, it was just that Alai Fútbol Club's Mario Oro managed to reach the ball for a save. After 59 minutes, Gogo Ted mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C. A. Nuevo Derecho and the Alai Fútbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, C. A. Nuevo Derecho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Ted to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute, Ramon Marquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benicio Ramone in the 66th minute of play forced C. A. Nuevo Derecho's goalkeeper Eugenio Abete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eugenio Abete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugenio Abete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Peruxu in the 75th minute of the match. Guido Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Oro having to interfere. Bernabe Polentzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Abete having to interfere. Eugenio Abete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. C. A. Nuevo Derecho had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
