An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaspar Atarrabi in the 14th minute of play forced Semillero's goalkeeper Evaristo Perrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Semillero's goal looked a bit too open when Gaspar Atarrabi came free, but Evaristo Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16thth minute of the game Arnaldo Lucado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Semillero's Evaristo Perrando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Lucado in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Perrando saved Semillero from getting behind. Domingos Xabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Semillero's Ambrosio Miliano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Atilano Gonsalve in the 31 minute of the game. Gaspar Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Evaristo Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Julio Poz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrella Federal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Semillero the free kick. A collision led to Estrella Federal getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Julio Poz hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Semillero's zone, Arnaldo Lucado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Perrando came out of the goal and Arnaldo Lucado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Lucado kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 45thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Semillero's keeper Evaristo Perrando was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Gaspar Atarrabi struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Evaristo Perrando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estrella Federal.

The wind increased when Camilo Ikatz made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Semillero's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Xabier came free, but Evaristo Perrando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Arnaldo Lucado got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Evaristo Perrando quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After having played for 55 minutes, David Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Semillero's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Ramirez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute Victorino Olando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Perrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Arnaldo Lucado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Evaristo Perrando was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Semillero were furious when Dionisio Elixio was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The Estrella Federal fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Estrella Federal's Arnaldo Lucado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Estrella Federal booed when Semillero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Nuñez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
