With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermengildo Brun in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco Oso saved Zapla FC from getting behind. A collision led to Caroya getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cayetano Brion hit a great ball. Francisco Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomero Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes into the game, Augusto Tonio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caroya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zapla FC the free kick. After 13 played minutes Caroya got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Tonio. Anacleto Omero might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Niva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Omero ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Felipo in the 16th minute of play forced Zapla FC's goalkeeper Francisco Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Caroya's Silvano Niva got control of the ball when Anacleto Omero tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zapla FC's Orlando Abecia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Silvano Niva. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute Hermengildo Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Tonio in the 24th minute of play. Damian Gomez hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Cayetano Brion sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Zapla FC's Francisco Oso didn't even have to move. In the 30th match minute, Zapla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Erramu to maneuver through the defense. When Baldomero Kaiet came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Caroya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Kaiet couldn't finish the play. Anacleto Omero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caroya's Silvano Niva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Karmel in the 37th minute of play. After 47 played minutes, Caroya's Bernardino Santikurtz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francisco Oso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caroya reached it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anacleto Omero made the kick off in the second half. Silvano Niva came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Zapla FC's Orlando Abecia. But to his dismay, Orlando Abecia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Zapla FC's Francisco Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Kaiet in the 56th minute of play. Augusto Tonio struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Francisco Oso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caroya. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Augusto Tonio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caroya's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Tonio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Oso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Kaiet in the 70th minute of play forced Zapla FC's goalkeeper Francisco Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Gomez's late challenge caught a Caroya's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damian Gomez helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Zapla FC's Damian Gomez got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Zapla FC's Francisco Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Kaiet in the 82nd minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Zapla FC's Anacleto Omero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Niva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Zapla FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
