After having played for 59 minutes, Hermengildo Brun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caroya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Brun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baldomero Kaiet might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavio Piearres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baldomero Kaiet ran back to his position shaking his head. Eulalio Olo took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvano Niva. Silvano Niva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caroya's goalkeeper Silvano Niva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Baldomiro Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Caroya were awarded a corner. Cayetano Brion went to the cornerflag to take it. Hermengildo Brun made a great header on Caroya's corner, it was just that Los Matadores F.C.'s Octavio Piearres managed to reach the ball for a save.
