Enrique Boni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Piearres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelo Isaio went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Serafino Katia fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bigano AFC's protests and gave Serafino Katia a yellow card for diving instead. Evelio Galoer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Piearres having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute, Los Matadores F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mario Ondino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mario Ondino took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Piearres. Octavio Piearres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 60th match minute, Bigano AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Katia to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Galeno kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Emanuel Lizar's late challenge caught a Los Matadores F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emanuel Lizar helped the player get up and apologised. If Anier Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bigano AFC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nino Sosa hit a great ball. Baldomiro Sagrario took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enrique Boni. Bigano AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bigano AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
