Matii FC's Eriberto Gartzen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Matii FC from getting a goal against them. Ernesto Oliviero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Eriberto Gartzen made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Matii FC's zone, Dario Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Gartzen came out of the goal and Dario Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute, Ismael Osorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ismael Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Eriberto Gartzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute of the game Aquiles Beat made a throw-in which Luisito Pere played forward. The supporters of Azampay AFC booed when Matii FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Cortez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Osorio in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eriberto Gartzen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Azampay AFC's Ismael Osorio got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Osorio couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Azampay AFC's Ernesto Oliviero got a free kick in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Nemesio Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matii FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nemesio Terciero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matii FC's Eriberto Gartzen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Matii FC from getting a goal against them. Azampay AFC's Ernesto Oliviero got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Osorio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Herminio Cortez helped the player get up and apologised. After 83 played minutes Matii FC got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Cortez. After a rather tough play, Matii FC's Florentino Mouricio got a free kick in the 84th minute. Dario Elazar struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Eriberto Gartzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azampay AFC. Ernesto Oliviero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Ismael Osorio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Azampay AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Matii FC to leave the ground with a draw.
