Spectators: 7152 (Terracing: 5365, Seating: 1645, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Melquiades Tauro kicked off to start the match. Severino Oskitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Anselmo Martxot recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Camilo Cordarell. Anselmo Martxot showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 29 minutes of play, Paternal's Benicio Savion made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Cordarell was left in no man's land by his defense there! Camilo Cordarell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Martxot in the 38th minute. Angelino Henrico kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Eguzki got free with Camilo Cordarell in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 played minutes Olain got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Henrico. Camilo Cordarell was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leopoldo Ubarna. If Melquiades Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anselmo Martxot to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Hernan Evarado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paternal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olain the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Paternal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernan Evarado to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th minute, Angelino Henrico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60thth minute of the game Anselmo Martxot who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olain's Camilo Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Martxot in the 67th minute of play forced Olain's goalkeeper Camilo Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Ernesto Ledesma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Paternal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Hernan Evarado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tiburcio Tino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Severino Oskitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Paternal's Segundo Socorro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Cordarell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Melquiades Tauro kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Angelino Henrico kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The supporters of Paternal booed when Olain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Henrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Segundo Socorro might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Camilo Cordarell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Segundo Socorro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th match minute, Olain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelino Henrico to maneuver through the defense. Olain's Camilo Cordarell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Martxot in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Paternal had won after a very even match.
