The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Manuel Leal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. a2toques FC's Adan Senin got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8thth minute of the game Manuel Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los pbes de Estudiantes's Gervasio Irrintzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute, Manuel Leal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gervasio Irrintzi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Vicente Quinito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benito Furman went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Isidoro Bernard hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Vicente Quinito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Lluterio in the 28th minute of the match. Adan Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Los pbes de Estudiantes getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Benito Furman hit a great ball. Gervasio Irrintzi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adan Senin in the 41st minute. If Adan Senin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Manuel Leal made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Adan Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los pbes de Estudiantes's zone, Ivan Cedro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Irrintzi came out of the goal and Ivan Cedro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Adan Senin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. a2toques FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Senin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Manuel Leal sped through Los pbes de Estudiantes's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gervasio Irrintzi. Los pbes de Estudiantes's Gervasio Irrintzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Senin in the 63rd minute of play. Basilio Luke charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basilio Luke the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes a2toques FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Luke. 67 minutes into the match, Manuel Leal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Irrintzi. Los pbes de Estudiantes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manuel Leal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 70th minute, Manuel Leal made a precise shot to the right of Gervasio Irrintzi. Los pbes de Estudiantes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Adan Senin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 minutes of play, a2toques FC's Manuel Leal made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Irrintzi was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 79th minute Adan Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Irrintzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81stth minute of the game Manuel Leal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los pbes de Estudiantes's Gervasio Irrintzi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adan Senin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Leal in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gervasio Irrintzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, a2toques FC's Vicente Quinito got control of the ball when Isidoro Bernard tried to sneak it across the goal line.
