The Mistica Roja FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoriano Mingo should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Santana in the 15th minute of play forced Mistica Roja FC's goalkeeper Victoriano Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rene Polentzi's late challenge caught a Mistica Roja FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Polentzi helped the player get up and apologised. Rene Polentzi got his second yellow card in the match during the 46th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Antelo getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Rene Polentzi hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Oidor to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ivan Enmanuel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mistica Roja FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Enmanuel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Milio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 78 minutes into the match, Mistica Roja FC's goalkeeper Victoriano Mingo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Santana. Victoriano Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Antelo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Antelo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
