An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Oihenarte in the 31st minute of play forced La Vecchia Signora's goalkeeper Silvio Vincente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Damian Ovando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Vecchia Signora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Covunco AFC the free kick. The supporters of Covunco AFC booed when La Vecchia Signora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zeledon Gorosti kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Roland Nowacki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Vecchia Signora's Silvio Vincente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Nowacki in the 47th minute of play.

The referee gave Zeledon Gorosti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 58th match minute, Covunco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Gorosti to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in La Vecchia Signora's zone, Javier Palban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Vincente came out of the goal and Javier Palban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Palban might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvio Vincente. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Javier Palban ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonas Oihenarte's late challenge caught a La Vecchia Signora's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Oihenarte helped the player get up and apologised. After 74 played minutes Covunco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Oihenarte. 谢风昆 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Gauargi in the 77th minute of the match. Javier Palban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Nowacki kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. La Vecchia Signora's Silvio Vincente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save La Vecchia Signora from getting a goal against them.
