Tirando Futsis's Marco Richie got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, La Vecchia Signora's Prospero Barto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Ismael Fortun scored 4-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silvio Vincente, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute Prospero Barto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Ler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the game, La Vecchia Signora's Damian Ovando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Ler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marco Richie was the one to do the kick off. Javier Ler came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by La Vecchia Signora's Damian Ovando. But to his dismay, Damian Ovando quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. In the 82nd match minute, Tirando Futsis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Gregory to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Rosendo Muno made a precise shot to the right of Javier Ler. Tirando Futsis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. 89 minutes into the game, La Vecchia Signora's Felipe Gauargi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javier Ler was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. La Vecchia Signora walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
