Athletich Espinillos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Victor Casado scored to the left of an out of position Jairo Abadie, making the score, 1-0. If Basilio Elija had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute Victor Casado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Athletich Espinillos got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Meder. A collision led to Athletich Espinillos getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Clodoveo Leoncio hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Basilio Elija lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Jairo Abadie. Jairo Abadie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Casado in the 33rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Casado stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armando Benvido couldn't finish the play. In the 78th minute, Basilio Elija made a precise shot to the right of Jairo Abadie. Athletich Espinillos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Victor Casado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
