Benito Bittor came out of the goal and Isaac Selatse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Patricio Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Baristo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benicio Locaio kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Isaac Selatse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With an all-out effort, Porteño Club de Futbol's Patricio Gonsalve threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amado Baristo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Arnaldo Basajaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the match, Benicio Locaio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Bittor. Porteño Club de Futbol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benicio Locaio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 23rd match minute, Premium FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Fiz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Porteño Club de Futbol booed when Premium FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Hegoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Patricio Gonsalve made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Porteño Club de Futbol's Javier Calixto got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Premium FC's Isaac Selatse in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Premium FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilio Asteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amado Baristo to strike the kick off in the second half. Porteño Club de Futbol's Benito Bittor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Locaio in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Benicio Locaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Bittor was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 59th match minute, Premium FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Asteri to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th match minute, Porteño Club de Futbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Barros to maneuver through the defense. When Eusebio Enekoitz came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Premium FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Enekoitz couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute, Anibal Vimaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Porteño Club de Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Selatse came free, but Benito Bittor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Benicio Locaio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benito Bittor, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Asteri in the 88th minute of play forced Porteño Club de Futbol's goalkeeper Benito Bittor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Baristo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patricio Gonsalve. Patricio Gonsalve dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 94 minutes into the game, Aureliano Montrelle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Patricio Gonsalve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
