With his leg Wlodzimierz Poteralski managed to avoid a goal in the 100thth minute, when Lanús's Ariel Leheren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Stayle AFC had won after a very even match.
