In the 16th minute, Campanas AFC got a penalty, and Augusto Gamus placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. 21 minutes into the match, Augusto Gamus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Sugar. Alvarado F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Gamus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With his leg Aureliano Sugar managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Campanas AFC's Hector Bihar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alvarado F.C.'s Aureliano Sugar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Gamus in the 32nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Hector Bihar sped through Alvarado F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aureliano Sugar. 41 minutes into the match, Alvarado F.C.'s goalkeeper Aureliano Sugar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Bihar. Alvarado F.C.'s Aureliano Sugar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Alvarado F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Hector Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hector Bihar to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Alvarado F.C.'s German Meder got a free kick in the 54th minute. Alvarado F.C.'s Aureliano Sugar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Gamus in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Augusto Gamus made a precise shot to the right of Aureliano Sugar. Alvarado F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 68 minutes, German Meder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alvarado F.C. and the Campanas AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. German Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Fidel Martxot kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Augusto Gamus came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Campanas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Gamus couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute of the match Augusto Gamus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Sugar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute Hector Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aureliano Sugar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87thth minute of the game Augusto Gamus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvarado F.C.'s Aureliano Sugar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aureliano Sugar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hector Bihar's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Augusto Gamus struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Aureliano Sugar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campanas AFC. There was no doubt that Campanas AFC were the better team. Campanas AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
