Joélson dos Santos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anísio Maranhense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Israel Orixe made a huge save. Teofilo Maureo charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofilo Maureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, C.A 11 corazones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Maureo to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, C.A 11 corazones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Romelio to maneuver through the defense. Israel Orixe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Maranhense in the 18th minute. If Teofilo Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Maureo struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Joélson dos Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A 11 corazones. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Teofilo Maureo made the kick off in the second half. Placido Huly's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joélson dos Santos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Teofilo Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Ieltxu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 55 minutes into the match, C.A 11 corazones's goal looked a bit too open when Anísio Maranhense came free, but Israel Orixe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joélson dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Huly in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Teofilo Maureo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A 11 corazones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teofilo Maureo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A 11 corazones's Israel Orixe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Eate in the 72nd minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, C.A 11 corazones's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Blanco came free, but Israel Orixe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Placido Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quebrachito FC's Joélson dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Quebrachito FC from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Gaston Eate's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Israel Orixe was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Quebrachito FC defense, Placido Huly kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joélson dos Santos. The Quebrachito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson dos Santos should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Gaston Eate made a precise shot to the right of Israel Orixe. C.A 11 corazones's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A 11 corazones's Placido Huly slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joélson dos Santos. That made the score 1-3 after 95 minutes of play. C.A 11 corazones played a much better game than Quebrachito FC and deserved their victory. The Quebrachito FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
