Spectators: 6930 (Terracing: 5295, Seating: 1623, VIP seats: 12) Talleres F.C's Guido Madaleno started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Hortensia FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Guido Madaleno fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 6th minute Arsenio Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andres Indar hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Leonardo Ibañez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Santio skillfully saved the ball. Guido Madaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Claris having to interfere. Fermin Salbatore struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Atilano Claris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Talleres F.C. In the 23rd minute Honorato Lluciano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Santio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Mitxaut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guido Madaleno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Atilano Claris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hortensia FC defense, Silvio Mitxaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Claris. The Hortensia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Claris should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsenio Batista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Arsenio Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Silvio Mitxaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hortensia FC's goalkeeper Atilano Claris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Silvio Mitxaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Talleres F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvio Mitxaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Atilano Claris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Hortensia FC defense, Guido Madaleno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atilano Claris. The Hortensia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atilano Claris should have stopped the shot. Ruben Santio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Bartuelo in the 76th minute. The supporters of Hortensia FC booed when Talleres F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Indar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Santio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Gerazan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruben Santio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adolfo Gerazan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 83 minute of play. After 87 played minutes Talleres F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ramon Polentzi. Leonardo Ibañez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Severo Beti threw the ball into play from the sideline. Talleres F.C's Hermengildo Pacho quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Talleres F.C were victorious despite being under pressure from Hortensia FC for much of the match.
