After 19 played minutes Area 51 got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Ruisko. Niceto Pepillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Gipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Cordareo took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Pepillo. Niceto Pepillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 30th match minute, Curtiembre AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Laurin to maneuver through the defense. Area 51 's Delmar Javiar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 31st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Curtiembre AFC. After 34 played minutes Area 51 got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Drake. In the 35th minute, Ezequiel Cerutti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curtiembre AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 40th minute Ezequiel Cerutti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucio Cordareo in the 42nd minute of play forced Area 51 's goalkeeper Niceto Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Cerutti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niceto Pepillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Tavio to make the kick off. Niceto Pepillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Cerutti in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ezequiel Cerutti kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Niceto Pepillo. That made the score 0-5 in the 55 minute of play. Curtiembre AFC's Alonzo Odilon quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Angel Saturnin, made in the 62nd minute of the game. Niceto Pepillo was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Ezequiel Cerutti capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ezequiel Cerutti really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romulo Gipuzkoa got free with Niceto Pepillo in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Niceto Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Cerutti, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Curtiembre AFC booed when Area 51 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Tavio didn't get a good kick on the ball.
