The Area 51 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Niceto Pepillo should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the game, Area 51 's Leonardo Tavio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eleuterio Pere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The supporters of C.A. JARANA booed when Area 51 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angel Saturnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Manuel Lazcano came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the C.A. JARANA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Lazcano couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Eleuterio Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Drake in the 91st minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A. JARANA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
