But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Estebe couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Estebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Fortun having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Marcelo Estebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Fortun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Estebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorio Fortun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Estebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Marcelo Estebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Victorio Fortun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Robustiano Urtun came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the nubatita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Urtun couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfonso Ellande to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Estebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victorio Fortun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Aureliano Curcio's late challenge caught a Dumesnil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Curcio helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes nubatita got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Curcio. Victorio Fortun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Estebe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 minutes, Mauro Gonchan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dumesnil and the nubatita players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Isidro Viator took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Victorio Fortun to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Marcelo Estebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. nubatita's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Estebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victorio Fortun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Atilano Mitxel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Fortun was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. When Marcelo Estebe came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the nubatita fans jumped to their feet. After 89 minutes of play Dumesnil's Mauro Gonchan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of nubatita booed when Dumesnil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Gonchan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Marcelo Estebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorio Fortun was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Cipriano Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Gabino in the 93rd minute of play. After some careless play in the nubatita defense, Wilfredo Gabino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Caton. The nubatita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Caton should have stopped the shot. nubatita were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
