Jimeno Fagildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los Diablos's zone, Omar Pero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Rafe came out of the goal and Omar Pero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Laurin's late challenge caught a India MVD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Laurin helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Los Diablos got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Laurin. After recieving a nice pass, India MVD's Pablo Tartalo tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to India MVD getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Omar Pero hit a great ball. Los Diablos's attentive Ricardo Abel managed to snatch the ball when Gaston Dominix made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Los Diablos's Ricardo Abel suffered a sore thigh after 25 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 25 minutes into the game, Florinio Camilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. India MVD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Diablos the free kick. A collision led to India MVD getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Florinio Camilo hit a great ball. If Delmar Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Micael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Aritza in the 30th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Florinio Camilo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antonio Rafe. The goal made the score 1-0. Antonio Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florinio Camilo in the 41st minute of play. Los Diablos's Antonio Rafe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omar Pero in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, Urbano Beliran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 54 minutes, Jimeno Fagildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. India MVD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Fagildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 62nd match minute, India MVD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florinio Camilo to maneuver through the defense. Delmar Aritza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Micael having to interfere. India MVD's Ciro Teofilio was substituted for Jimeno Fagildo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Teofilio in the 74th minute of play forced Los Diablos's goalkeeper Antonio Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, India MVD's Ciro Teofilio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Rafe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of India MVD booed when Los Diablos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Montrelle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Teofilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 played minutes Los Diablos got a freekick which was hit by Leo Guillem. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ciro Teofilio managed to get in a good position for a shot. India MVD's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Teofilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antonio Rafe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 96 minutes into the match, Los Diablos's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Teofilio came free, but Antonio Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
