The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cosme Platon during the 20th minute. Geronimo Hodei might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfonso Rubio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geronimo Hodei ran back to his position shaking his head. David Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melchor Donzel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Deportivo ESyR getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ramy Tamer hit a great ball. Deportivo ESyR's David Guillelme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Maidana in the 96th minute of play. Rosario were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Deportivo ESyR's much stronger midfield.
