Iker Palos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Pedroso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeronimo Belasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Belasko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Volvio FC's zone, Gaudencio Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Incendio came out of the goal and Gaudencio Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rafael Mouricio kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Volvio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ermegildo Macias to maneuver through the defense. Iker Palos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Macias in the 74th minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Alfonso Pedroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Merlo's Iker Palos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Iker Palos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Gimenez in the 79th minute of play. Iker Palos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Pedroso in the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Merlo booed when Volvio FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Isadore didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Pedroso in the 96th minute of play forced Merlo's goalkeeper Iker Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Volvio FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
