In the 8th minute, Volvio FC's Alfonso Pedroso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Alfonso Pedroso notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chosmes FC's Tomas Santos. Tomas Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gregorio Micael's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Incendio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Alfonso Pedroso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Santos having to interfere. Rogelio Asteri struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Tomas Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Volvio FC. Tomas Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alfonso Pedroso was the one to do the kick off. Volvio FC's Baltasar Incendio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Lapurdi in the 54th minute of play. Tomas Santos came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Volvio FC's Alfonso Pedroso. But to his dismay, Alfonso Pedroso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Baltasar Incendio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregorio Micael in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 71 minutes, Gregorio Micael managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chosmes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregorio Micael was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Santos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfonso Pedroso in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Santos saved Chosmes FC from getting behind. Chosmes FC's Tomas Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Pedroso in the 80th minute of play. If Alfonso Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Volvio FC's Ermegildo Macias got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Volvio FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
