Spectators: 6686 (Terracing: 5296, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 140) Emilio Gustau started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Stanislao in the 4th minute of play forced Goldney FC's goalkeeper Melchor Firmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melchor Firmin was a little too slow when Alfonso Stanislao got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jacinto Izotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th minute, Gustavo Elizardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Goldney FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Elizardo in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Balthazar Kerrild saved LAU CC from getting behind. 16 minutes into the game, one of Goldney FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 19th minute, Segundo Matteo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LAU CC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Rene Luke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, LAU CC's Segundo Matteo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Goldney FC's Emilio Gustau got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Emilio Gustau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Gustau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Balthazar Kerrild breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Gustau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso Stanislao to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Gustau in the 55th minute of play forced LAU CC's goalkeeper Balthazar Kerrild to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th match minute, Goldney FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Aurken to maneuver through the defense. Emilio Gustau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emilio Gustau during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacinto Izotz got a throw-in 65 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Desiderio Arnau. In the 67th minute, Emilio Gustau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Goldney FC's Melchor Firmin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Stanislao in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of LAU CC booed when Goldney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Elequemedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Gustau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Balthazar Kerrild tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Balthazar Kerrild came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Goldney FC's Emilio Gustau. But to his dismay, Emilio Gustau quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The long shot by Dalmacio Montae in the 94th minute really tested Balthazar Kerrild's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 97 minutes, Julio Ostargi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Goldney FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Ostargi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
