The referee ignored Deportivo Can's protests and gave Alvaro Berart a yellow card for diving instead. Elias Celio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Tallia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Barreal FC's Elias Celio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arturo Tallia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Arturo Tallia was out of position in the 12 minute of play, and Elias Celio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elias Celio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Barreal FC's Niceto Mateus in the 18th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Arturo Tallia was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Deportivo Can through an amazing save. Baltasar Bide hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Alvaro Berart got his second yellow card in the match during the 26th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 27th match minute, Deportivo Can was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Berart to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Mateus in the 28th minute of play forced Deportivo Can's goalkeeper Arturo Tallia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arturo Tallia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Mateus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Deportivo Can's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Mateus came free, but Arturo Tallia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Niceto Mateus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arturo Tallia, 3-0. The audience was convinced that Niceto Mateus's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arturo Tallia was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Denis Ur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Can's Arturo Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Celio in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Baltasar Bide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Can's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreal FC the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Deportivo Can was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Bide to maneuver through the defense. Rogelio Semeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Tallia having to interfere. Arturo Tallia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Mateus in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the game, Cristian Kinsen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Can's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreal FC the free kick. Maximo Federigo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 68 minutes into the match, Rogelio Semeno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arturo Tallia. Deportivo Can's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Semeno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. When Niceto Mateus, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 72 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Arturo Tallia was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Elias Celio might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Tallia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Celio ran back to his position shaking his head. Deportivo Can's Arturo Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Mateus in the 85th minute of play. When Elias Celio came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Barreal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Celio couldn't finish the play. When Barreal FC's Niceto Mateus in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Barreal FC had played much better football throughout.
